From a loose collection of values to an industry of training and work system construction, “Agile” has permanently changed the way developers view managing their projects. Despite the good it’s done, Agile isn’t a silver bullet: at times, the values of Agile run counter to the needs of outsource art development. We’ll discuss looking at Agile as a tool with a purpose, understanding when it is most effective, and determining when the values you sacrifice with agile development are the ones you can’t afford to lose.
