Table-Topic: How to foster award-winning studio culture within the service industry

By some estimates, the maximum game career length averages six years before people quit the industry. For outsourcing partners, it may be even worse as it’s easy for buyers to apply pressure on outsourcing teams: retention may not be their first concern, and they also pay a premium price to get things done.

Led by Jean-Sylvain, winner of Canada’s Best Boss 2022 (GameIndustryBiz), this table topic will try to answer the question: How do you foster a great studio culture, including employee care and retention, connection to staff, hiring processes, internal and external work pressures, and project/partner selection?
