EXPERIENCED TRACK

The last two years have been rough for the entire game industry. Mass layoffs, studio closures, cancelled projects, scale-downs, scarcity of opportunities, stalled negotiations, the list goes on. While we may not be entirely through the crash, there is already much we can learn from these experiences.

As an external development community, going through a market disruption like has a severe impact on our relationships, businesses, and operations, whether you are a Developer/Publisher or a Service Provider affected by the constantly changing circumstances. During this table topic we will have a chance to share our experiences from the last years, discuss ways to improve external development moving forward, and investigate whether there are ways to mitigate a crisis like this in the future.
