TABLE-TOPIC: No Holds Barred Ex-dev Championship Match
External development has grown and evolved in the last decade. Many positive developments can be seen from the growth of XDS itself to mainstream acceptance of the value external partners bring to game development. And while there are always platitudes about communication and trusting your partners, there’s often elements that are pushed aside or ignored. These elements are the true reality underlying ex-dev, and can often be an invisible obstacle to productive relationships for both side, buyer and seller.
These two titans of ex-dev, Miguel Corti and Brian Rausch, are going to dive into the unmentioned side of ex-dev—the dirty stuff, the stuff left unsaid. Both have decades of experience, and both will have pointed words for each other as they discuss everything many are afraid to admit in public.
We can’t promise it will be a clean fight, and, as such, the audience must be 18 years of age to attend.
Format:
• The contenders will ask hard-hitting questions to the two contenders.
• Each contender will give a raw, honest answer — no filters, no punches pulled.
• The goal is to illuminate topics that always hang on the periphery of ex-dev but usually remain unaddressed.
• The audience will determine the winner for the XDS Intercontinental Heavyweight World Champion.
