🌈 Pride & Connection: The LGBTQ+ Meet-Up at XDS

For the first time in XDS history, we’re hosting a dedicated LGBTQ+ Meet-Up — an intimate, grassroots gathering designed to foster visibility, support, and real connection. Taking place just 30 minutes before the Welcome Reception, this relaxed get-together will be held at a casual outdoor bar next door to the main venue. Whether you identify as LGBTQ+ or are an ally, you’re warmly invited to join.
In the spirit of accessibility and early connection, we’re also hosting a virtual pre-meet a few weeks before the event. This casual mixer is a great way to break the ice and say hello in a welcoming, judgment-free space before the in-person experience begins.

🕹 Arcade Afterparty: Games, Conversations & Casual Connection

After a day of sessions and high-energy networking, the XDS Arcade Afterparty offers a playful way to wind down. Happening Tuesday and Wednesday nights, this new after-hours event transforms the venue into a social arcade—complete with classic video game challenges on the mainstage and cozy board game corners for laid-back chats.
Whether you’re here to win, unwind, or just share a laugh with new friends, the Arcade Afterparty is all about celebrating what brings us together. No pressure. No speeches. Just good games, good people, and a refreshing reset to get you ready for the next day.

🌍 XDS Eco Meet-Up – Designing for a Cooler Planet

We believe the gaming industry can—and should—play a part in shaping a sustainable future. That’s why we’re introducing the XDS Eco Meet-Up, a new Thursday evening session rooted in impact and innovation. This gathering invites attendees to explore how studios, developers, and creators can integrate sustainability into every level of their work.
With expert guests (to be announced soon) sharing actionable insights and practical strategies, the Eco Meet-Up goes beyond discussion to focus on implementation. Plus, we’ll be serving a selection of locally sourced drinks, thoughtfully curated to reflect the values of the session.
