The XDS26 Service Provider Lottery is now officially closed.
Whether you secured a ticket or landed on the waitlist, thank you. The demand, the global representation, the continued trust in the process — that’s what makes XDS what it is.
Now let’s talk about next steps.
Step One: Check Your Inbox
Everyone who entered the lottery has received a notification.
You either:
- Received a payment link (congratulations), or
- Were notified that you have been placed on the waitlist.
If you haven’t checked yet, now is the time.
IF YOU SECURED A TICKET
1) Complete Your Payment
Use the payment link in your email to secure your XDS26 pass.
Each recipient has a limited payment window. Your ticket is only confirmed once payment is received.
2) Check Your Visa Status
Most non-Canadian citizens require either:
- A visa, or
- An Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)
Some travellers may only need a valid passport.
Please review your entry requirements on the official Government of Canada website and carefully read the visa information PDF.
If you require a visa:
Email [email protected] after you have registered to request an official Invitation Letter.
The letter will include the special event code for XDS26 registered with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Start this process early. Bureaucracy respects preparation.
3) Secure Your Hotel
We strongly recommend booking accommodation as soon as possible.
We’ve secured preferred event rates at our official hotels:
- Pan Pacific Vancouver (Website / Room Booking)
- Fairmont Waterfront (Website / Room Booking)
Both are steps away from the Vancouver Convention Centre and place you at the heart of the XDS experience.
IF YOU’RE ON THE WAITLIST
Not getting drawn in the lottery doesn’t mean the journey ends here. There are still paths into XDS26.
1) Become a Speaker
Speaker submissions for XDS 2026 are now open.
Deadline: April 24, 2026
Each year, our Advisory Committee curates a program focused on the most relevant and impactful conversations in external development.
For XDS26, key themes include:
- AI
- Ethical XDEV
- Industry Stability
- Emerging Markets
- Increasing Efficiency
If you have insight, data, case studies, or hard-won lessons to share, this is your opportunity to shape the conversation.
2) Become a Sponsor
A limited number of sponsorship opportunities remain available.
Sponsorship includes ticket allocations and elevated visibility within the XDS community.

3) The Waitlist
We anticipate releasing a small number of additional tickets to the waitlist around June.
Availability will be limited, but the door is not fully closed.
