XDS Pass Sale Update: A New Fair, Stress-Free Process for 2025

For XDS25, we are introducing a brand-new ticketing process for the Service Provider category—one that ensures fairness, reduces stress, and embraces global representation like never before.

Why the Change?

XDS prides itself on maintaining a balanced ratio of Service Provider and Developer/Publisher tickets, a key aspect our attendees have come to know and value. However, this balance has also led to Service Provider tickets selling out in record time, causing challenges for those impacted. In 2025, we are taking steps to improve this process.

A Smoother, Fairer XDS Experience

This long-awaited change is designed with you in mind. We are thrilled to finally provide a ticketing experience that reflects the values of our global community: fairness, accessibility, and inclusivity.

Our Goals for the New Process

With the new ticketing process, we aim to:

  • Reduce stress and the time crunch—No more frantic clicks or racing against the clock.
  • Ensure a fair, unbiased system—Everyone gets an equal chance, regardless of location.

How It Works: Three Phases to Success

Phase 1: Pre-Registation

From March 31, 9am PST to April 4th, 6 pm PST you’ll be able to submit your information to the application pool for an XDS25 pass – no rush, no stress. You will receive a confirmation email to let you know that your application has been successfully submitted to the applicant pool.

Phase 2: The Ticket Draw

Service Providers who apply will be randomly drawn from the application pool and given the opportunity to register for the conference.

The draw is structured to ensure global representation and fairness. To encourage diverse representation from the external dev community, each company is limited to a maximum of three (3) passes.

All successful registrants will be notified by April 9th and all remaining submissions will be moved from the registration pool to the waitlist automatically*.

Phase 3: Payment & Confirmation

Successful registrants receive a payment link to secure their pass. This link is active for 48 hours—if payment isn’t completed, the pass goes back into the pool. Once payment is completed, you will receive a registration confirmation email.

*What is the waitlist, and how does it work?

Our waitlist captures those who were not drawn to receive a ticket. If those who were drawn decline a ticket, or additional tickets become available, people on the waitlist will be given an opportunity to make a purchase.
